What are the system requirements?
Manos AI runs natively on your machine to ensure zero latency and maximum privacy. You will need Windows 10/11, at least 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GPU with 4GB+ VRAM for hardware-accelerated LLM decoding. The Core text-only plan can run on modern integrated graphics.
Do you store my data?
No. Manos AI is completely offline by default. If you download new models or integrations, it connects to secure repositories briefly, but your voice recordings, screen captures, and file contents NEVER leave your local hard drive.
Is it available for MacOS or Linux?
Currently, Manos AI thrives on Windows due to deep OS-level APIs required for cursor and file logic control. A MacOS version is in active development with a release planned for late 2026. Linux terminal-only CLI versions are in beta.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a cloud text generator. Manos AI is an executing *agent*. Manos actually controls your PC. It clicks buttons, organizes files, adjusts local system settings dynamically, and responds to your physical digital environment.
